This site is not the official e-Apostil system; it belongs to a private translation office. Official system: www.eapostil.gov.tr Why we say this

Contact details and how we correspond

Registered name, address, telephone, email, MERSİS and chamber details of the office behind the site, and why written contact is preferred.

This page gives the identity and contact details of the office that runs the site, says which questions can be answered here and which can only be redirected to the right address. Questions about the official Turkish e-Apostil system fall into the second group; see below.

Registered details

  • Registered name: Hacettepe Tercüme Ltd. Şti.
  • Address: İhlamur Caddesi 9/8, Kızılay, Ankara, Türkiye
  • Telephone: +90 850 255 5 444
  • Email: [email protected]
  • MERSİS number (Turkish central trade registry): 0454051565600012
  • Chamber: Ankara Chamber of Commerce (Ankara Ticaret Odası)

These details match the trade registry entry; when they change, this page is updated first.

Why we prefer writing

The office prefers written contact, and the reason is accuracy rather than convenience. The certification chain of a document depends on the type of document, the destination country and the rule of the authority that will receive it; those three facts get lost or garbled on the telephone. A request sent by email records the document type, the page count, the target language and the country of use, and the answer stays in writing where it can later be compared with the quote. The telephone is used after a written request, to settle details. For readers abroad, email also removes the time-zone problem: Türkiye keeps UTC+3 all year round.

Written messages are answered on working days. An answer given without seeing the document stays general; a document-specific answer needs the document, and the channel through which it is shared is agreed in the correspondence. Document files are not collected through the form on this site.

What can be answered here

The translation of a document, where the translation fits in the chain, whether notary certification is needed and the quote itself are the office’s own work, and those questions are answered. For general questions about the certification chain, the answer points to the relevant page of this site and to the official source it rests on. Foreign authorities, employers and universities that receive a Turkish document may also write to ask how a particular certification was produced; the answer describes the chain, not the merits of the document. Error reports about a page go to the same address; the page address and a note of what is wrong are enough.

Questions about the official system

This site is not the official e-Apostil system. The office cannot answer any question about the status, payment, delivery or verification of an e-Apostil application, about a login problem or about any function of that system; it has neither the authority nor the information. When such a question arrives, the answer is one sentence: the official system is at www.eapostil.gov.tr and its support channels are listed on that site’s own contact page. There is no need, and no reason, to send application details, documents or login details to this office.

What is never requested

In no correspondence does the office ask for e-Devlet login details, one-time codes or an identity number. Those details are personal. A request of that kind made in the name of this office did not come from the office; a note to the email address above is enough. A request for payment comes only after a written quote has been accepted, and only through the channel named in the quote.

Visiting the office

The office is in Kızılay, the central district of Ankara. A visit is possible for handing over or collecting a document, but it needs prior correspondence, because the stage the work has reached and who will be present that day have to be known in advance. Where notary certification is needed, a visit to a notary office may be part of the process; its order and place are set out in the quote.

Translation in the chain

Where does the translation fit?

  1. Document going abroad The sources describe two routes: an apostille on the original, or a translation certified by a notary with the apostille then confirming the notary’s signature. The receiving authority says which it wants.
  2. Foreign document used in Türkiye The sources describe an apostille in its country first, then a Turkish translation with notary certification; the Turkish institution receiving it confirms its own requirement.
  3. Sometimes none is needed Multilingual civil status extracts and some treaties remove the translation or the apostille. The authority that receives the document decides.

The translation office behind this site translates documents for these chains. Tell us the document, the target language and the country.
